Moody Zook Activated Charcoal

I have recently been trying out another brand of activated charcoal. Moody Zook Activated Charcoal. Moody Zook? what a fun name!

I was interested in this activated bamboo charcoal powder particularly because it has sage added to it. I love sage, and the scent as well, so I was a bit disappointed that this is pretty much scent/tasteless the sage was not detectable to me.

The Moody Zook Activated Charcoal Powder comes convenient plastic container that can last a very long time depending on how you're using it. If you are using it primarily for teeth detox/whitening it will last a VERY long time. Do note it charcoal powder can be a bit messy and stain, so it's best to use a very small amount at a time. I like using a 1/4 teaspoon to scoop mine out.

Sagano Activated Charcoal Powder

Activated charcoal has so many uses. I have used mine for a gentle teeth whitener, a facial mask, & body scrub. Internally it's great for upset stomach & digestion issues. You can add some to a bit of water and drink it (pretty much tasteless) or put some powder into some capsules and swallow them.

The Sagano Activated Charcoal Powder comes in a large 1lb bag that can last a very long time depending on how you're using it. If you are using it primarily for teeth detox/whitening it will last a VERY long time. It has a zip seal closure to keep the powder fresh and from spilling out. Do note it charcoal powder can be a bit messy and stain, so it's best to use a very small amount at a time.

I like using a 1/4 teaspoon to scoop mine out. It can also be helpful to transfer to a smaller container, like a 1 or 2 oz jar and reseal and stow the bag away until you need to refill.

Icosa Living Eco- Smart Glass Straws Set

I love this glass straws set!

I had been gifted a glass straw years ago and only used it a few times. It was too difficult to keep clean, so it got lost somewhere in the bottom of the silverware drawer. Now years later I had the chance to try glass straws again, and this time it comes in a cute kit AND with a straw cleaner! Yes! I can finally use glass straws and feel confident that I am able to get them totally cleaned out. The Eco-Smart Glass Straws Set comes with 6 clear 9" glass straws, and a cleaner brush, all packaged in a nice black gift box. These really are eco-friendly as all the product & packaging is recyclable. The box is made of nice sturdy cardboard. The glass straws themselves are nice quality with no air bubbles and for the most part uniform shape around the lip of the straw.

The box this set comes in is very nice, with a slot for each straw and brush to sit in. The box is not the most convenient for long term storage though, it is certainly possible, but I find it a little difficult to get the straws in and out of the slots. I really wish this kit came with a cardboard or bamboo box where you could just sit/lay the straws with out the slots. However, that is just a suggestion to make the product even better. Having some other sizes of straws in the kit might be nice too.

This straw set is a great buy for yourself, or to give as a gift. It's a gift that lasts a lifetime, and anyone who likes to drink from straws would appreciate it.

Also wanted to note, that these are thick sturdy glass straws and I would even feel comfortable letting children use them.

Lift Care Vitamin C Serum Review

I have been using the Lift Care Super C vitamin c serum for about a week. It has nice natural ingredients and I love the scent. (the scent is a blend of vanilla, citrus, lavender, sandalwood, rose, & jasmine essential oils)

The first few days using this serum I used too much of it and I experienced a small breakout above my lip. I then started using a smaller amount (about 3 drops) and have had no issues since. I feel like this serum brightens and moisturizes my skin and I have not even needed to use any other moisturizer with it. (although this could be different in dry winter months, that is yet to be seen)

I also think that the fact that this serum contains 3 different types of vitamin c does make a difference. I was using a 20% vit c serum previously with only one form of vitamin c and I did not experience any real difference in my skin. I have only been using this product a short time and already am noticing my skin looking brighter. I have now made Lift Care's Vitamin C serum part of my daily skincare routine.
